Happy Holidays!

Hi my friends.

I've finally found the time to sit down and come here to write.

I am sorry for being so busy, I know I promised to come here often. I'm sure you all understand with the holidays, how hard it can be to find some peaceful time!

Before Christmas day I was so busy shopping, trying to find the perfect gifts for all of my loved ones.

Along with that, I started school, I was (still am) trying to get back into the swing of things.

OH! Here's something fun,I placed into such a low math class, that i'm the SMARTEST person there! Never in my life has that happened... so I am not complaining.

I have just a short amount of time to writr here... i'll do my best to get as much down as I can in this short amount of time.

I wanted to wish everyone happy holidays. My Christmas was VERY busy but ALL worth it.

I was blessed to be able to wake up Christmas morning and serve families who live in a motel. That is what they call their home. Some rooms have up to six people living in one room. Without getting into details, i'm sure you can imagine how tough that may be.

We were able to get a list of all the childrens names who lived in these motels and provided them with tons of gifts! The smiles and small tears of these families prices was exactly how I would love to spend every Christmas.

When you keep Christ in Christmas and serve others in celebration of his birth, all of the gifts, food, tamales, champurado, games... you forget about it all when you are able to see the joy in these peoples spirits.

I encourage you to not only think about ways you can share on Christmas or the holidays. Everyone has a need that needs to be met every day. Some more urgent than others. Always keep your eyes and heart open to giving your blessings to someone else, as you recieve more joy as well!

Never take what you have for granted, lets lift these people up in prayer, that next year when my family go and serve at the motel for Christmas, they will have found a more permanent place which feels like home.

(We will be visiting them throughout the year, if you care to join please let me know).

Okay, that's all for now. I love you all. I hope your holidays are great and you enjoy your time with family and friends! I'll be back soon!
